ETCHED MIRROR

I wish I had better pictures of this mirror. This was my first attempt at etching. It turned out ok. I'm not sure that I left the etching cream on long enough. We'll see what happens next time. Jarrett found the mirror at a resale store for me. It was a reddish color and then I painted over it with turquoise and then lightly sanded it down so that some of the red would show. This was done for my friend Holly as a birthday present. She was very happy with it.

ANOTHER BABY GIFT

This "taggie" was much easier to make than the last one. All I can say is that the more of them you make the more you learn. This one is fleece on both sides verses the other was fleece on one side and a cotton knit on the other. As you can tell this one was for a little boy!

BABY GIFT

This is the first "taggie" I have made along with the burp cloths I previously posted. I made this for my friend Kellyjo and her third baby, Reagan.

APRONS

Well I made around 5 aprons for Christmas gifts last year. I fell in love with this farbic and had to search for it. I found it in Little Rock finally and barely got enough of each print. I wish I could have gotten more, maybe for a quilt or something.
Did you notice......hubby is modeling!!!

KITCHEN CLIPBOARD

This is a clipboard that I am using in the kitchen to hold our monthly menu. Yes, you heard me correct, a monthly menu. We got pretty good about planning it out until all the pregnancy sickness but now we are getting back on track.

PLACE CARDS

I made place cards for a friend of mine to use at a church function. We were very happy with the way they turned out. This is an extra one that I had left over.

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

Well I have made lots of things since my last post but have failed to update. I am going to try to do better now. I made this sometime in October. I couldn't resist the paper, it's soo cute!
