Ok, I have had some people ask me about the desk I want from Ikea. Here is the link--- http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/series/09064/. It is the in the Expedit series. I think it would work great. The desk gives you enough work area and then look at all the the storage you would have with the bookcase! IKEA HERE I COME!!!

FATHER'S DAY CARD

This is the Father's Day card that Ben and Drew helped me make. The top picture show the inside with a card that slides out. The second picture shows inside again, a little closer shot. I let the boys write something on the white cardstock. Drew's picture is a happy face and Ben's I think is a heart. The last picture is of course the front of the card, as I said, I like the bug stickers! This is made out of a brown paper sack. I had lots of fun making it>

CARDS, CARDS, CARDS!

These are some cards I have made recently. Yes, I love the bug cards that I make. I use them for birthday cards usually. I guess they could be used for about anything. I am slowly getting better at card making. When I started, well, it was pretty bad I think....lol.

MY CRAFT AREA

The first picture is something I have done within the last few days. I found the phrase on another blog but changed the wording so that it would flow better. I used Cricut vinyl and the Base Camp font. Yes, that is a curtain rod over it. I thought it would be nice to hang things on. Right now on each side are some runners that were my grandmas. I have some half aprons that I could put on it too. Probably gonna have to do some antique shopping to find some other things for it.
The second picture is my small scrapbook space. It is small but works great. I am making use of the butcher block Jarrett made. It works perfect. I would rather stand and work than sit. I feel like I can work better. My favorite find was the red canvas baskets. They work perfect and keep me organized. The only thing I really need now is the black trim around my peg board AND a sewing machine table!!!!! I hope to find one of them at a garage sale or antique store.
I told Jarrett the other day that I will get this room exactly like I want it and then we will move. Hmmmm, maybe then I can get the Ikea desk and bookshelves I want, lol!

ALTERED MINI COMP BOOK

This was made for Kelley, a sweet lady that I work with. It was a birthday present. I tried something new with buttons. Another project that I am happy with!

Ziggurat

This is a three page spread I did a month or so ago. Of course, they are from when Jarrett was deployed. My friend Jenny is the one that mentioned doing three pages. The first page as a title page and then a regular 2 page spread. I like it. I have been doing several this way lately.

COASTERS

This is my first set of coasters. I am happy with the way they turned out. Drew picked out the design and helped me ink them. They are for his past teacher, Miss Brandy.

GIFT BAG

I found this idea in a magazine and copied it except I decided it needed to be brighter. The apple stamp is actually a Granny Smith apple sliced in half. I think it turned out good. The ruler is a regular wood one that I cut in half. Turned out to be a fairly inexpensive project.
