PAINT, PAINT, PAINT

I repainted the boys bathroom/laundry room with the color called Natural Surroundings. I love the color and it makes the room look so much better than the white did.

MUMS-I LOVE FALL

This weekend we will be doing yard work. There is sooo much to do. My flower beds are awful, even though I did weed them when Eli was 5 or 6 weeks old. I have a few dead blackberry bushes and an oak tree. My list goes on. I told Jarrett we needed to paint the exterior doors and my metal outdoor furniture. Well, we will see what gets done, depends on the weather I guess.

YUMMY, BOSTON CREAM PIE

Well I made this rather quickly this afternoon for Jarrett to take to the Men's Ministry Fellowship Meal tonight at the church. It was quite fun......between a crying baby and (2) 5-year-olds that wouldn't cooperate with me at all. This is only the second time I have made it. It took me an hour and a half this time.......oh I hope it's good!!!!

TURKEY SHIRT

Ok, I have mixed feelings about this shirt. I was hoping that I could get Eli to put his handprint on the shirt.....silly me. It would hand worked if I had used one color paint but noooooo, I wanted to use 5 colors. So with the help of some q-tips I think it turned out ok; he will be wearing it on Thanksgiving.

NEW OUTFIT FOR ELI

Cute flannel pants!!!!! This is the first pair I have finished.....3 more waiting on me. Hopefully I will get them finished soon. I must say he looks very cute in this outfit!

ONESIE WITH A TIE

I made this last night for Eli to wear to church today. It turned out good. Now I need to get busy and make him some for the winter using long sleeve onesies.

Tummy Time

I'm not a fan of posting pictures of my kids online but this one I decided is ok since you can't see all of his face. I should post a current one of the twins; that one to the right with their backs to the camera is pretty old!

Recycled Wool Longies

I made these for Eli two nights ago. Of course they are too long but I am hoping he will get to wear them longer this way. Hopefully, I can make more soon when I find more 100% wool sweaters. Yes, I said sweaters, these pants are the sleeves of a sweater I had. I do have someone that is going to knit/crochet (I don't know the difference) him 2 pair of longies and maybe 2 soakers or 2 shorties. I am sooooo excited about that. The colors will be oatmeal and heather brown. For anyone that doesn't know..... these are cloth diapers covers and they tend to be pricey.

APRONS!!!!

I'M BACK

Well for those that don't know I am going to be a SAHM. Yes, since our third little one has arrived I/we decided it was the way to go. After school care for two and childcare for another one tends to add up and on top of that there is still a house to clean, laundry to do and meals to be cooked. So come Monday, I will be full time cloth diapering, meal planning, craftin mom with two 5 year olds and a 10 week old! Hmmmm......sounds like I might be a little bit busy.

As you can see I posted CUTE flannel that I bought for Eli some pants. I have some fabric to post for aprons AND I have 6 aprons made that I need to sell!!!! That doesn't count the ones that are cut out ready to be sewn up. YIKES!

Well more to come soon..........

MORE FLANNEL

These are for pants too! I just love them. Now I need to go find a pattern.

FABRIC FOR BABY ELI

I'm thinking this would make cute pants! Then I can applique something on a shirt to match.

NEW MACHINE

Well thought I would let everyone know that my new machine will be home Saturday!!! I am excited and can't wait to play with it. Saying that just made me think that I haven't posted a picture of my new serger. I need to get busy I guess.
More to come later this week!!!!

MORE NEW FABRIC!!

This fabric will be used for aprons also. I have more fabric to post later and some stuff that will be for sale.

Poppy Fabric

I saw this on a website a day or two ago. Isn't it pretty!!! Don't think it comes in charm packs. Might have to splurge and get 1/2 of each, well, maybe a yard. I really don't even know what I would make with it.

NEW FABRIC COMING

Just ordered some new fabric, charm packs, Blush and Oz by Moda. Love them, love them; time to get creative.

ETCHED MIRROR

I wish I had better pictures of this mirror. This was my first attempt at etching. It turned out ok. I'm not sure that I left the etching cream on long enough. We'll see what happens next time. Jarrett found the mirror at a resale store for me. It was a reddish color and then I painted over it with turquoise and then lightly sanded it down so that some of the red would show. This was done for my friend Holly as a birthday present. She was very happy with it.

ANOTHER BABY GIFT

This "taggie" was much easier to make than the last one. All I can say is that the more of them you make the more you learn. This one is fleece on both sides verses the other was fleece on one side and a cotton knit on the other. As you can tell this one was for a little boy!

BABY GIFT

This is the first "taggie" I have made along with the burp cloths I previously posted. I made this for my friend Kellyjo and her third baby, Reagan.

APRONS

Well I made around 5 aprons for Christmas gifts last year. I fell in love with this farbic and had to search for it. I found it in Little Rock finally and barely got enough of each print. I wish I could have gotten more, maybe for a quilt or something.
Did you notice......hubby is modeling!!!

KITCHEN CLIPBOARD

This is a clipboard that I am using in the kitchen to hold our monthly menu. Yes, you heard me correct, a monthly menu. We got pretty good about planning it out until all the pregnancy sickness but now we are getting back on track.

PLACE CARDS

I made place cards for a friend of mine to use at a church function. We were very happy with the way they turned out. This is an extra one that I had left over.

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

Well I have made lots of things since my last post but have failed to update. I am going to try to do better now. I made this sometime in October. I couldn't resist the paper, it's soo cute!
