Wow, I can't believe that I have gone so long without updating my blog. I have been busy....lots to post.

YARN BALLS

I've been needing something for this old bread bowl that belonged to my grandma. So I had some orange yarn with dark green left over from the mini wreath I made. I wrapped it around styrofoam balls and perfect! When I went to HL today I picked up some green that cordinates. Probably going to make a few to to fill it up.

MANTEL DECOR FOR FALL

Soon we will have a family picture with Eli in it:) It will be done as soon as I add some pumpkins!

BUTTON ART

I haven't sewn them on yet. I am still deciding if I want to use burlap or a linen fabric I have AND not sure about all the red buttons. I really am happy with the frame though!

CHANGES

So it's time to change my picture over to the right of the screen...50 acres to roam. We have moved and the boys no longer have the room to roam. They have a decent amount of space but can't launch their rockets and there are limits on the go-kart. It really hasn't seemed to bother them since their daddy helped them build a sandbox. Also, we should be able to get the huge swingset/clubhouse here next month, hopefully!

I am also working on making some stuff to put in a booth in Conway, maybe. So far I have coasters and aprons. Gotta think of more things. I am considering button inital art. Picture to come!

VALANCE FOR BACK DOOR

So I'm not sure this will stay here. It is made to be a curtain of somekind. There are some snaps on it. I originally bought it thinking it was a table runner....should've looked closer. Oh well....I like it and I found it in Ashdown, AR for 6.25!

VALANCE OVER DINING WINDOW

I had a hard time deciding what to do with the window in the dining area. Since we are renting I didn't want to invest any money or very little so this is what I came up with. It cost me 4.00 for a few more black rings to go on the rod I already had. The runners I already had and then borrowed 4 that belong to my sister. It's a nice look I think.

MY GARDEN UPDATE

Well the garden isn't doing very well even though it has been watered daily. My squash vines are growing by leaps and bounds! Unfortunately, some of the baby squash has just fallen off the vine. They have looked perfect, just fall off for some reason.
The peppers were doing really well and now they are not growing as big as before. They get a certain size and then get a dark brown soft spot on them. WHO KNOWS!? Gonna try a few things to see if I can find a cure.
Tomato plants....... :( not even gonna talk about them!!!

And sooooo, I'm a SAHM now. I have signed up Pampered Chef again and am very excited to get started. One show in July already scheduled that will be "Christmas in July"....I hope to give away some good stuff!!!!

I am also making more cute aprons to sell in a local coffee shop that is set to reopen soon. Will post some pictures as soon as they are all done.
