Poppy Fabric

I saw this on a website a day or two ago. Isn't it pretty!!! Don't think it comes in charm packs. Might have to splurge and get 1/2 of each, well, maybe a yard. I really don't even know what I would make with it.

NEW FABRIC COMING

Just ordered some new fabric, charm packs, Blush and Oz by Moda. Love them, love them; time to get creative.

ETCHED MIRROR

I wish I had better pictures of this mirror. This was my first attempt at etching. It turned out ok. I'm not sure that I left the etching cream on long enough. We'll see what happens next time. Jarrett found the mirror at a resale store for me. It was a reddish color and then I painted over it with turquoise and then lightly sanded it down so that some of the red would show. This was done for my friend Holly as a birthday present. She was very happy with it.

ANOTHER BABY GIFT

This "taggie" was much easier to make than the last one. All I can say is that the more of them you make the more you learn. This one is fleece on both sides verses the other was fleece on one side and a cotton knit on the other. As you can tell this one was for a little boy!
